Man assaults teen, tries to drag her into bushes | News
GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Grand Rapids Police hope a composite sketch will generate tips about a man who assaulted a 14-year-old girl.
The crime happened around 11:40 p.m. Monday at the corner of Leonard Street & Herrick Avenue NW.
The teenager told officers she was walking alone when a man approached her from nearby bushes and grabbed her. The suspect attempted to drag her toward the bushes, but she was able to escape. The suspect ran off in an unknown direction.
The Grand Rapids Police Department Major Case Team is investigating. Anyone with information is asked to call (616) 456-3604 or Silent Observer at (616) 774-2345.
