GRAND RAPIDS, MI (WZZM) - Memorial Day Weekend marks the unofficial start of Summer and the west Michigan events scene is really starting to heat up! Here's what's happening.
If you love the outdoors and orchids, this hike is for you!
There is no charge and the walks usually last about 90 minutes.
This is a great hike for all ages.
The Allegan Antiques Market will be open for business on Saturday as well. Featuring over 400 dealers, this market has been rated as one of the top ten shows in America by Antiques Magazine.
The market opens at 8 a.m. and runs to 4 p.m. rain or shine. Admission is four dollars.
Finally, the one and only Mel Brooks has adapted his classic, Young Frankenstein, to the stage.
It will be presented for one night only, this Thursday, May 31st at the Forest Hills Fine Arts Center.
Meggan George, Manager at Forest Hills Fine Arts Center said, "A lot of the humor is there, the music is funny, there's some really great scenes that are exact takes from the film and a lot of the lines that people have come and known to love for Mel Brooks."
