GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) -- Police say a missing Grand Rapids man with dementia has been found and is being evaluated by doctors.

Richard Bertrand Ott, 76, was last seen around 10:30 a.m. Tuesday when he left his northeast Grand Rapids home, according to a police news release.

Kent County deputies found Ott and his car on Broadmoor Ave. SE near Patterson Ave. around 1:45 a.m. Wednesday.

Investigators say Ott was taken to an area hospital for a check because he had been without medication for diabetes.
