City High-Middle School ranked #2 in state

GRAND RAPIDS (WZZM) - Grand Rapids is home to the 2nd best school in the state.

U.S. News & World Report ranked Grand Rapids City High-Middle School as the 2nd best school in Michigan and the 255th best in the country in their annual Top 300 High Schools in America list.

"City High-Middle School is the best of the best in West Michigan," said Teresa Weatherall Neal in a press release. "This is why as part of our Transformation Plan we are re-investing and expanding schools in the district like City so more students and parents have access to this high quality school choice."

City High-Middle school will be relocating this fall to the Creston High School site, as that school is closing.  This will allow for more students to be able to enter the school.

City High-Middle is still accepting applications. Applications are required, students must meet admissions criteria to be selected, and seats may be limited. Interested parent can apply online at apply.grps.org or call Student Services at 819-2150.
