GRAND HAVEN, Mich. (WZZM) -- Sheriff's deputies say a registered sex offender is facing new assault charges for giving women massages at the shooting of the film "Touchback" in Ottawa County.

Timothy Ketchapaw, 39, was at the overnight filming session of the movie at Coopersville High School last Thursday, says Lt. Mark Bennett of the Ottawa County Sheriff's Dept.

Bennett says Ketchapaw was posing as a massage therapist, and offered free massages on the set.  Several women complained, and the film crew's security escorted Ketchapaw from the set, but investigators say Ketchapaw did not leave the parking lot.

Deputies arrested Ketchapaw for being on school property -- a violation of his sex offender requirements -- and misdemeanor assault.

The Michigan Public Sex Offender Registry (PSOR) lists Ketchapaw as living at a northeast Grand Rapids address. He was convicted of indecent exposure and being sexually delinquent for an incident in July 1999.
